MINNDEPENDENT and the 2012 Retreat Planning Committee have designed a School Head/Administrators Retreat that will provide you with the best, most current information to help you manage your schools in this world of constant change, new challenges, and ever-expanding technology. Whether you lead a K-8, K-12, high school, or a school with a mix of other grades, you will definitely benefit by attending.

Dr. Bob Tift (President, Benilde-St. Margaret’s and MINNDEPENDENT Board Member) is serving as this year’s Retreat Dean. Members of the Retreat Planning Committee include Donna Harris (President, Minnehaha Academy) and Joel Landskroener (Executive Director, Mayer Lutheran High School and MINNDEPENDENT Board Member).

The focus of this year’s retreat will be “E-learning and Technology.” The agenda is full of opportunities to learn more about this growing area of education which is revolutionizing how school is “done.” Topics will include mobile devices, virtual academies, crisis communication/PR, and HR & Employment Laws. Additionally, a highly valuable session development/advancement will also be offered as well as an entertaining book discussion by John Schwietz, author of this year’s retreat book, IRREGARDLESS…ain’t a word.

Please join the heads, administrators, and other school staff of MINNDEPENDENT member schools at the seventh annual two-day School Head Retreat at Cragun’s Resort and Hotel on beautiful Gull Lake. MINNDEPENDENT has secured fifteen (15) clock hours for attendees.

$100 – 2 nights

Day-Only rate:^
$16 per day (no overnight accommodations; meals NOT included)
     Meals charged extra based on pricing below, which includes gratuity and MN Sales Tax:
